After reading and commenting on a number of articles and posts recently about motivation, goals and mantras/affirmations, it prompted me to recall a number of past assignments working with coaching clients trying to make them more effective by focussing on their language. 

This was achieved by working on their use of language when talking to others or their own self-talk when they were developing their own thought processes and how they frame them.
